Kent and Jennifer

We're shooting Kent and Jennifer's wedding in July, so we went out for their engagement session in downtown Dallas a little over a week ago. We were so bummed that the Majestic theater's marquee was not lit up that night, especially since we had planned the shoot specifically on a night there was a show planned. BUT, I think we got some cool shots of Kent and Jennifer other places downtown. We had a blast! What a fun couple!

Teenage Bliss

I don't know if we've ever had an easier photo shoot - teenagers are easy! :) We asked them to pose a certain way and they actually stayed in place and did it....sometimes with their own little improv which still made for some great pictures. We had a fun time laughing with the Smith family! These photos are last years Mother's Day present for a very sweet and deserving mom.

Bros

Anther windy day, but at least the sun was out for this family shoot! Rarely does taking pictures seem like work, but rather sometimes just an afternoon at the park with friends. -Such was the case this day....with a 3-year-old ready to pose and a one-year-old on the go!

Gonzalez Family

Have you ever seen a family look so good? You wouldn't know the wind was blowing 30mph the day we went out!! The pictures were shot at the TCU campus in Ft. Worth, TX. We had a great time laughing with the Gonzalez family. We enjoyed being a part of your day!

Kiddos

We made our first trip to the Arboretum in 2009 this weekend with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and our neighbors George and Courtney. I think spring fever has officially set in the Cobbs household. We've been hibernating all winter - so much so that I wore my Hawaiian shirt 2 weeks ago the minute it hit 60 degrees here in Dallas (though, it was right in between 2 days where it was in the 30's and 40's). But, as Jenny just pointed out, it was me that's been held up all Winter; she and the kids have been outside regularly on good days. Regardless, the kids loved being able to run around freely for the day with no worries of cars or concrete. Afterwards, we went to Chuy's for some of the best Mexican food in Texas. What would the world be if tacos or chips & salsa had never been invented? I snapped a couple pics before we went to eat...
