365

So I've started a "365." A picture a day for one year. Mostly I'll try and use off camera flash for the pic of the day - at least at first because it's where I need the most work. But, as the year progresses I'm sure there will be a little of everything. The purpose, to try new things and push myself to create unique looks and do new things photographically. The images below are in reverse order Day 5 (Jenny - my beautiful pregnant wife), Day 4 (missed this day), Day 3 (pics a & b because the kids were too cute), Day 2 (Cooper-so-serious) and Day 1 (me in those cool sunglasses).

We have the privelege of shooting the most beautiful kids. The Heath family is absolutely no exception!

Mike and Jenn

Mike and Jenn were married at the Chapel-in-the-Woods on the campus of Texas Women's University in Denton, TX outside of Dallas. It was gorgeous place to have a wedding. Pretty in Pink

We took Madison's pictures in our home studio a week or two ago and I'm just getting them up on our blog! She was content as could be during her shoot. She loved a stuffed monkey chair we have for the kids and was just fascinated by it. Everytime we put her back in front of our lights, she would slowly start making a b-line toward the monkey chair. We think her pictures turned out adorable. Look at those eyes!

Bell Family

This is the second time we've taken our friends the Bell family's pictures. Once when the twins were only a few weeks old, and now their one year pictures with big brother. What a beautiful family!

Elle was a happy the whole time we were shooting. She just smiled and smiled. She let us do just about anything to her. Too cute...
